Welcome to Goodvalley Ukraine – Growing Together, Naturally

At Goodvalley Ukraine, we are proud to be one of the top three pork producers in Ukraine, working hand in hand with nature to deliver high-quality products. Since 2004, we have been rooted in the fertile lands of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where we focus on sustainable farming and doing things the right way – for the land, the animals, and our communities.

Our approach is simple but powerful: Our closed-cycle production system ensures efficiency and environmental responsibility at every step. From land processing and feed production to pig breeding and biogas production, we strive to create high-quality products while minimizing our ecological footprint.

By blending traditional care with modern European farming techniques, like Danish pig breeding technologies, we are able to grow responsibly and sustainably. At Goodvalley Ukraine, we believe farming is not just about what we produce – it is about how we care for the world we share.

At Goodvalley Ukraine, we are committed to delivering exceptional value to our partners, supporting local communities, and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.

Crop Production

We cultivate 14,000 hectares of fertile land, growing essential crops like winter barley, winter rapeseed, winter wheat, corn, and soybeans. These crops are the foundation of our feed production, fueling sustainable farming and supporting a thriving agricultural ecosystem.

We embrace sustainable farming practices by utilizing the minitill method, which replaces traditional plowing with a more soil-friendly approach. By minimizing soil disturbance, we protect the land’s natural structure, retain vital nutrients, and reduce erosion. This innovative technique not only enhances efficiency and conserves valuable soil resources but also ensures that all agricultural activities are completed on time with the utmost care and precision.

At the core of our farming philosophy is a deep respect for the land we cultivate. By balancing innovation with sustainability, we aim to grow responsibly, ensuring our fields remain productive and healthy for generations to come.

Feed Manufacturing

Our company produces high-quality feed at two modern feed mills with a combined capacity of 2,800 tons per week. In 2024, the construction of a new grain storage facility and the installation of additional silos expanded our total grain storage capacity to an impressive 79,000 tons.

We take pride in using only premium-quality Ukrainian grain, meticulously tested to ensure it is free from mycotoxins and other harmful substances. Beyond raw material quality checks, the feed mill laboratory ensures rigorous monitoring of the final product. This enables us to create optimal, nutrient-rich feed rations that meet the needs of our livestock and support their health and well-being.

At the heart of our feed production is a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and care for every step of the process, delivering results that benefit both our animals and the land.

Animal Welfare and Breeding

At Goodvalley Ukraine, pig farming is not just a business – it is a commitment to quality, sustainability, and respect for nature. Our work is deeply rooted in Danish expertise, leveraging high-quality genetic material imported from Denmark to ensure the health and well-being of our animals.

We take pride in being a leader in Ukraine’s pig production industry, ranking second in production performance. Our breeding stock consists of approximately 14,000 sows, raised with care and attention in an environment that prioritizes their welfare.

Goodvalley Ukraine operates with the philosophy that farming should work in harmony with the environment. By adhering to European animal welfare standards, all our sows are housed in groups, creating a stress-free and natural environment for them.

Our three-site production system ensures that pigs are cared for at every stage of growth – from sow farms to nurseries and finishing farms. This tailored approach allows us to meet the needs of our animals while maintaining the highest standards of biosecurity and quality.

Drawing from Denmark’s long-standing tradition of sustainable farming, we raise a three-breed hybrid of Duroc, Landrace, and Yorkshire pigs.

At Goodvalley Ukraine, we are proud to produce responsibly, ensuring that every step of our production respects animals, people, and the planet.

Green Energy

As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, Goodvalley Ukraine began constructing its first biogas plant in 2011. This innovative facility processes organic waste and manure from our pig farms through anaerobic digestion. The biogas plant, with a capacity of 1.1 MW, became operational in the 2013.

The biogas plant generates both electricity and heat by combusting the biogas produced during the digestion process. This approach not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also helps minimize the environmental impact of our operations. By transforming waste into valuable energy, we are actively contributing to a more sustainable future.

After biogas production, the remaining biomass is separated into liquid and solid components. These byproducts are used as fertilizers for fields, adhering to agricultural regulations and best practices. This natural fertilizer is more easily absorbed by crops and emits almost no odor, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment.

At Goodvalley Ukraine, we are proud to lead the way in green energy innovation. By turning waste into renewable energy and eco-friendly fertilizers, we are creating a harmonious balance between farming, energy production, and environmental care.

Responsible production

At Goodvalley Ukraine, we are deeply committed to supporting the communities where we operate. Partnering with 68 villages across the Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Stryi districts, we provide meaningful employment to over 60Хай0 people, offering competitive and timely wages that contribute to local well-being.

In 2011, we established a Social Fund to support local communities. This initiative evolved in 2020 into the grant program "Village of Dreams", focused on empowering rural areas. Key areas of support include education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, healthy living, and rural development.

In 2024, through the "Village of Dreams" program, we funded 53 projects with a total investment of over 2.9 million UAH. These initiatives are designed to foster innovation, improve quality of life, and promote sustainability, ensuring that our partnership with communities grows stronger with every passing year.
Rooted in the values of care and collaboration, we believe that thriving communities are the foundation of sustainable agriculture and a brighter future for everyone.
